Developed the sustaining capital model of the Alcoa Project Control System (APCS)  incorporating industry wide “Best Practices” and standardizing project management processes around the globe.  Benchmarked front-end loading (FEL) performance for all regions  to objectively identify and communicate opportunities for improvement.  Measured incremental FEL performance against regional baselines to establish trends and identify areas requiring additional resources/support.  Led all regions in the sharing of regional “Best Practices” and incorporating those agreed upon by all regions into APCS.  Trained global sustaining capital project resources in the application of APCS on all sustaining capital projects.
